About Me

I'm a designer and programmer working as a 3D Generalist. I hold a BA in Film & Animation with minors in Computer Science and Digital Marketing.
For as long as I can remember, I've been making things. During my journey as a "maker", I've taken the idea of being a "generalist" to heart, combining programming techniques and real-world problem solving to create totally unique visuals. Today, I've worked with large IPs, companies, and people to create stunning brand worlds and experiences. A little bit of wiring circuits here, a bit of building dioramas there, and a whole lot of 3D work. From 3D printing physical dioramas and adding visual effects to them, to compositing effects into live action footage, to programmatically controlling camera settings based on lighting, I take pride in being able to connect with technology and use it in novel ways. Along the way, I've become a B2B marketer, and someone who engages with brands in a professional, methodical manner. - CR

Building Worlds

I use a variety of design programs such as Blender and After Effects to develop concepts and stories into creatively executed, epic 3D imagery and visual effects. As a programmer (Python, JS and more), a B2B marketer and a designer, I represent an intersection in disciplines. I understand how products and required outreach evolve over time. As an empathetic marketer, I know how to truly reach audiences, and I've overcome countless technical obstacles with my knowledge of advanced 3D pipelines and techniques. From generating thousands of unique 3D models, to constructing real-world interactions, I conquer creative challenges. Creative Pathways

I go beyond traditional 3D design, because creating compelling imagery often requires much more. I deliver on visual effects and camera solving needs, in-browser animation (WebGL), physics & fluid simulation, and compositing. I combine my technical instincts with my design skillset to produce reliable, well-constructed content. The bottom line is, I identify the best method to produce the absolute highest quality content, and then I forge a path to get there, whether that path takes me on a journey to learn a new programming language, to build out something like an Arduino project, or even shoot my own cinematography. - CR

Technical Skillset Meets Design
